If you are reporting something that went wrong, a screenshot and the name of the screen you were on is enough to work with.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. There is no login and no password, because there is no server to log in to. Everything lives on your iPhone.

How do my workouts get to my other devices?

Through your own iCloud, automatically, as long as you are signed in to the same Apple Account and iCloud Drive is on. Nothing is sent to us. If a new device looks empty for a moment on first launch, it is still pulling your history down.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, entirely. The internet is only used to sync between your own devices and to open an exercise demo video on YouTube.

I bought it before. How do I get it back?

Reinstall it from the App Store while signed in to the Apple Account you bought it with. The App Store recognises the purchase and will not charge you again. There is no separate restore step, since the purchase is attached to your Apple Account and not to any account with us.

Why did my weight go down?

Because you missed the bottom of the rep range on a set. TagdiBody prescribes a range, like 5 to 7. Hit the top on every set and the weight goes up next time. Land anywhere inside it and the weight holds while you chase more reps. Fall below the bottom and it steps the weight down once, straight away, so the next session is one you can finish.

Why is my weight the same as last time?

You are inside the range but not at the top of it. Get every set to the top number and it will add weight.

What is a one-off workout?

A session you log without touching your plan. It does not move your rotation, does not change any of your weights, and does not push tomorrow around. It still counts toward your streak. Use it for a gym session that is not part of the programme.

I missed a few days. Am I behind?

No, and the app will never tell you that you are. Your plan advances when you train, not when the calendar moves. If you have been away ten days or more it offers to take ten percent off your weights, and you can decline with one tap.

Can I do a different day of my plan today?

Yes. Tap the session name on the Today screen and pick any day. The rotation carries on from the day you chose, so the one you skipped comes round again after a full cycle.

Can I change the order of my training days?

Yes. You tab, then your active plan, then the arrows next to each day. Whatever was coming up next stays next.

An exercise does not suit me or my gym does not have it.

Swap it. Open the exercise and choose Swap, and you will get suggestions that train the same movement. You can change it for today only or for the rest of the plan.

The weight shown for a dumbbell exercise looks low.

Dumbbell lifts are prescribed per hand, and the app says "each" next to them. Two 20 kg dumbbells is shown as 20 kg each.

Can I use pounds?

Yes, there is a kg and lb switch on the workout screen and in settings. It changes the display only, so your history stays intact.

What does the app read from Apple Health?

Your bodyweight, and nothing else, and only to draw one chart. It is never saved, never synced and never sent anywhere, and nothing is ever written back to Health. The app works completely if you say no.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. You tab, then Export, which produces a JSON file containing everything, and the share sheet lets you send it wherever you like. Nothing leaves the app unless you do this.

How do I delete everything?

You tab, then Delete all my data. It is deleted from your iPhone immediately and permanently, and removed from your iCloud as the deletion syncs, usually within a minute or two. There is no copy on our side to delete, because there never was one.

Something is broken.

Please email tagdibody@icloud.com with what you were doing and a screenshot. It genuinely helps, and it gets fixed faster than you would expect.
